For those that have never had a Microdermabrasion Facial or one at Bel Viso, I’m going to walk you through the process and my results.
Bel Viso day spa is located inside of Elle Salon on 328 Main St. When you first walk in you will notice a beautiful decor and modern style salon. Maria has her room upstairs overlooking the entire salon. Before you get started you fill out a skin type quiz that helps you to start thinking about your type of skin and how your skin would like to look. This part of the process was actually surprisingly beneficial for me as I have never thought about my skin type like this before going into a skin treatment.
Maria starts the Microdermabrasion Facial by first wrapping your hair up in a soft headband and washes your face gently to prep your skin. We talked about my skin type after she was finished washing. I told her that I consider my face to be sensitive to a lot of products and have been searching for a solution. She explained every step in the process and the importance and was ready to answer any questions I had.
After the facial was finished, Maria and I sat down and went over my skin type and discussed the types of products I should be using on my skin. When discussing this she also presented some great insight as to why my skin might be reacting to certain products that I thought were high-quality or a good fit for me.
I know that it can be very easy to buy into the marketing of typical products on the shelf at CVS however, Maria was able to really dive deeper into my specific skin type and what to look out for going forward. This is one of the main reasons why I highly recommend going to Maria for skin treatments on a regular basis. She really goes through a long process to make sure that the products that are in her Spa are really top notch and best for the client.
Lastly, Maria provided me with samples specific to my skin type and explained where to add each sample into my daily routine. I left feeling REFRESHED!!
